Operation Christmas Child - Warehouse Shift - (7:00pm - 10:00 pm)

Description

Operation Christmas Child

“Samaritan’s Purse collects shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. Since it began in 1993, more than 232 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.”

A team of 16 (max) including 2 adults age 18 or older is needed to work a 3-hour warehouse shift on Tuesday, December 16 @ 7pm. Location: 1201 Creekview Drive, Coppell, TX 75019

Every volunteer in the processing center plays an important role in ensuring the integrity and successful delivery of the shoebox gifts. Volunteers form teams responsible for inspecting gifts, working with filler items, scanning labels, organizing shoeboxes by age and gender into designated cartons, and heavy lifting. Due to the fast-paced environment of the warehouse and changing needs, you may be asked to do different tasks during your shift. We appreciate your flexibility in advance!
